Artwork Description
In her unique series of photo-drawings, Véronique Durruty draws with ink on a photograph. The artist dresses a young lady with her dreams as if there were tattoos.
It is drawn with black ink, with a unique precise line, so that the dreams appear more realistic than the blurred silhouette of the young woman. It is called “La Comédie” because the artist was listening to the poems of “Les Fleurs Du Mal” by Charles Baudelaire played by the artists of “La Comédie Française” in Paris.
